Specialty pharmacies focus on medications designed for rare, long-term, and/or complex conditions, and offer personalized services. A specialty pharmacy is different from a mail-order pharmacy or a local pharmacy, like where you may get your steroid prescription.
PANTHERx is the dedicated specialty pharmacy for CRENESSITY that dispenses and ships it directly to patients. PANTHERx clinical pharmacists are trained in your rare condition. They are there to work with your doctor to support your personal treatment journey providing you with long-term clinical support related to taking CRENESSITY (for example, information about dosing, understanding side effects, and more).
You can expect a call within 1 business day after your prescription has been received by PANTHERx. They will walk you through everything you need to know to help you get started on CRENESSITY.
Yes, you will need to talk to your Care Coordinator before you fill CRENESSITY for the first time. This is so they can confirm important personal details that the pharmacy needs in order to dispense CRENESSITY.
After your second shipment, you can schedule refills through text message or use PANTHERx's refill management app. If you are interested, you can opt in to the texting service while enrolling in Neurocrine Access Support. You can also reach out to your Care Coordinator to opt in later on or if you have any questions.

If your insurance denies CRENESSITY after you start on the QuickStart Program, you may be eligible for the Patient Assistance Program (PAP). Your Care Coordinator can review your information to determine if you qualify and get the process started if you’re eligible.
To apply for PAP, your doctor will have to fill out a form that lets Neurocrine Access Support check if you are eligible. You will also need to sign the form to consent (give permission) for us to check your eligibility. If you have any questions about how to get started, your Care Coordinator can help.
